Beijing, May 19 (Xinhua) -- Energy production data released by the National Bureau of Statistics of China on the 19th showed that in April, the growth rate of natural gas production in China's large-scale industries (hereinafter referred to as "above designated industries") accelerated.

Specifically, in April, China's large-scale industrial natural gas production reached 21.5 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 8.1%, with a growth rate 3.1 percentage points faster than in March;

 The daily output is 720 million cubic meters.

 From January to April, the natural gas production of industrial enterprises above designated size was 87.4 billion cubic meters, a year-on-year increase of 5.3%.

Stable growth in raw coal production.

 In April, the production of industrial raw coal above designated size was 390 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 3.8%, with a growth rate 5.8 percentage points lower than that in March;

 The daily average production is 12.98 million tons.

 From January to April, the production of industrial raw coal above designated size was 1.58 billion tons, a year-on-year increase of 6.6%.

Crude oil production continues to grow.

 In April, the crude oil production of industrial enterprises above designated size was 17.72 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.5%, and the growth rate slowed down by 2.0 percentage points compared to March;

 The daily average production is 591000 tons.

 From January to April, the crude oil production of industrial enterprises above designated size was 71.81 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.2%.

The data also shows that China's large-scale industrial power production has steadily increased.

 In April, the power generation of industrial enterprises above designated size was 711.1 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 0.9%, and the growth rate slowed down by 0.9 percentage points compared to March;

 The daily average power generation is 23.7 billion kilowatt hours.

 From January to April, the industrial power generation above designated size reached 2984 billion kilowatt hours, a year-on-year increase of 0.1%. After deducting the number of days, the daily average power generation increased by 0.9% year-on-year.
